fiogf49gjkf0d Wow, I haven't blogged since December? That sucks. Okay, let's get it going again.
Lotsa stuff going on with the site - mostly behind the scenes, but will affect you all at some point. I'll try to keep you posted as I make changes.
I just finished making a way for me to upload entire albums to the site in just 5 minutes (plus upload time). I have literally 100's to post and this will make it go quickly enough that I don't get discouraged before I even start. The plan is to upload 4-5 a day until I have them all posted.
The Manic Mondays and Dr. Demento shows are way behind (about 4 months) so I've made a commitment to add at least one of each to the site every day (I also made some changes that will make this easier for me to do).
Also, we are still missing 8,648 song samples for items played on shows - I've committed to adding at least 10 per day (some of these will come automatically as I upload the albums).
I recently changed the song upload routine to automatically, and instantly, create the song sample when the MP3 is uploaded (takes about 5 seconds). So DJs, please remember to upload MP3s of the songs you play on your show to the site if we don't have them - share with other DJs and let us auto-create a song sample. I know it's a bother, but if you do it then I don't have to - and as you can math-out... it will take me 864 days to get them all on my own at my current rate of 10 a day!
There are a lot of new things planned... new "jobs" for some members, new features for the site, etc. - but more on this in another blog.

fiogf49gjkf0d I'll try to upload some of the stuff I played on my shows, but on a demand basis since I don't have that much time. If any DJ wants me to upload a particular song I played but there's no mp3 of it, please e-mail me through my madspace page and I'll upload it so other DJs can use it. If some of them make the DT20, please e-mail me at dfsx@dfsxradio.com (save this address) immediately so I can get my ass to it ASAP. A lot of these are unreleased, but some are commercially available.
I use some of the stuff the other DJs play on their shows, likewise, they use mine (the songs by other artists that I play that is) for their shows. I can't use everything as time is of the essence.
