When they get error from usual link
And aren't sure what we might think
Yes, we refresh again and again
Needing reassured, chances thin
Ever hoping not as bad as we think

Ok, I get that.

Many of the input boxes on different forums or the blog are seriously broken. I can't even get the Xmas stream banner taken down, so how are we going to get to this?

That's not even the fun part. I have to be careful making these posts because if I screw up the spelling & try to edit, the font changes. To bold. Which makes it look like I'm screaming everything. And I can't fix it without replacing the entire post.

What's worse, different forums have different bugs which screw up your post in different ways.

But that's as may be....

Let me guess - you tried to edit the blog title, then you got an empty input box with "the blog entry no longer exists" in it. Bad news. I get that, too. Did you notice my latest blog title isn't teal? It's that way because I can't change it. If I try, I also get the 'entry no longer exists' bug.

This is one of the many things Wayne needs to fix. All I know for sure is that it's somehow connected with the new automated font function. He has to do the rest.

The editing bug is... after I post, if I go back and try to edit by clicking

WHERE IT SAYS EDIT but the message page that comes up doesn't have

the original message... instead a blank form with message

The blog entry no longer exists

(From MadSpace page)

The dates were original post attempts. Like Lucy conveyor belt scenario,

they pile up with no place to go...

What's that meme about not getting it at all & putting a pancake on your head or whatever?

If you mean changing the dates in the post header to the days the site was down, I don't even think Wayne can do that. I know I can't. But perhaps he can. I've just never seen it happen before.

If that's the request (a mighty big if), it might be easier to do what I've done in my blogs for 11 years. Make your own larger header, put the date you want on it & that'll distract viewers from the one that's there. Like this:

March 7, 2018 - 4:35 pm EST (UTC -5)

Wayne redid the input box & made it easy to do in the last upgrade, so we don't have to use HTML for it now. Not that it was a big deal before...
