First off, how the heck can I get this text to not be centered? Where's the setting for this?

Anyway, some updates coming in. There has been an update on the status of my old dfsxradio dot com domain. The domain is no longer up for sale. More on that later.

I'm shopping around the internet for a portable mixer powered by rechargeable batteries, plus some stereo 1/8 inch patch cords to hook up the phones, with songs from youtube or my private collection, queued up to play, to the mixer. I'm also looking around for a microphone since the last ones I gave away stunk.

I also got rid of my digital voice recorders. The fidelity was pure crap.

To make a long story short, I'm planning to record some shows once again using a remote wifi or my phone hotspot to stream the songs, since I won't be downloading songs, and record the shows almost live with I on the microphone intro and outro ing the songs instead of I recording the segments in one location, gathering the songs from another location, and hastily cobbling them together like I've been doing for years. 

An update on the name: I did promise to do the Halloween 2017 Part 2 episode of I Still Get Demented and it got shit-canned along with any planned episodes since then due to circumstances I won't divulge into. That episode will happen, then I Still Get Demented will get a new name as the name of Demented, meant to be a tribute to Dr. Demento, doesn't go over well in this time of age. There is no date on when that will happen yet.

The name of the new show will simply be called The DFSX Radio Show. There will be many changes to the format. I will emphasize amateur comedy artists who would want exposure and don't have much more than just a single social network account and youtube to promote their songs. DFSX will be going back to the way dementia once was but no longer called dementia. Back to the roots of what made mad music and crazy comedy great in the first place. In these times when commercial radio is gasping for breath as people flock to Alexa to stream songs from Spotify or whatever the folks listen to other than broadcast radio, and many radio stations cutting out specialty programming such as local music showcases and funny shows, we need to step in and make a noise on the streaming radio world and play some good time novelty songs and spoken word comedy. 

Now that the Mad Music website is back up, it's time I get back to maybe provide new artists that will stimulate our brains instead of putting people to sleep with boring contemporary music. I'll let you know when I'm ready to record some new shows, but for the amateur artists, let us all know what you have to share with other funny music shows to play in whatever social network you use.
