fiogf49gjkf0d Hard to believe today marks 10 years to the day I took keyboard in hand and gave life to my TV Web Shrine (tvwebshrine.150m.com/)!
The Site Dedicated To Favorite Shows, yours and mine, it houses links to several of my own TV-related pages, including The New Tom & Jerry Information Site, The Monkees Film & TV Vault and The ABC Password Page, and some of the most detailed, entertaining, and informative television-related links online. First it was known as AHIII's TV Web Shrine, then it was changed to The AHIII TV Web Shrine, and finally I decided to add my full name to the title.
Having enjoyed the successes of my first 2 websites The New Tom & Jerry Information Site and The Monkees Film & TV Vault, both of which I launched in 1997, I needed a catalyst to not only connect the two, but link numerous oher sites dealing very much indepth with the television medium. I found it in The TV Web Shrine, which has gone from one server to the next (thanks to their lack of complicity with my site due to their slashing of bandwidth in nearly half in the wake of 9/11 and the resulting economy crash) within the past few years: Yahoo!GeoCities to Tripod to TopCities to 150m.com, its current location.
And as a special 10th Anniversary bonus, The TV Web Shrine has endured a big makeover! A new body background image of the masthead, newly-updated mastheads for The Monkees Film & TV Vault and The Falcon's Lair: The Unofficial Guide To Dynomutt, Dog Wonder (which had its 10th birthday last Thursday), the reintroduction of the introduction I had on the front page in The TV Web Shrine early years, and a great many updates of several URLs (and removal of some dead ones) in MY FAVE TV SHOW SITE LINQUES!, which are punctuated with a "new" symbol! And I have probed the Internet Archive vaults and provided, on the front page, links for you surfers to click on to see its evolution over the years as it transferred from one webserver to another.
Again, as it has been for every anniversary, thanks to all of you for your love and support for my TV Web Shrine for the past decade! Beginning our next 10 years...
