    SADAKO CAME TO THE ARCADE
(To the tune of "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" by Charlie Daniels Band with cameos from "Max. (period)" by 2MB and "Dance Dance Revolution" by DDR All-Stars)
New Lyric Arrangement (c)2004 Emi M. Briet

    The 'noroi no video'
    Flashed on the Namco screens
And Yasu saw, he was in awe
As were all the adults and teens
One week later, that same young man
    Was playing DDR
His nerves got squicked when thr image flicked
To that well that he just saw
    Sadako climbed out the well
Her eyes all filled with rage
And then she beamed out of the screen
    And landed on the stage
She said, "So you're a gamer
So I'll give you a fighting chance
All you here yet, your lives I'll bet
    That I'll out-dance your ass!"
The man said, "Call me 'Yasu-san'
And I'll tell you by far
I'll take your bet, you're gonna regret
Cause I'm the best at DDR!"

    Yasu limber up your legs
As quick as they can be
    Cause Sadako's in the arcade
    She controls the CRT
    And if you win
Then no one in the arcade takes a fall
But if you lose, Sadako kills us all!

    Sadako used nensha
    And restarted the Extreme
    It said "DDR Ring Mix"
As strange as that would seem
And when she scrolled the music wheel
    It made an evil hiss
And when she chose "Max. (period)"
She played it just like this....

(sample: The "Max. (period)" excerpt played in the music wheel sample)

    Sadako triple-A'd that song
    And Yasu laughed by far
He said, "good tech, but no technique
    Here's how you DDR!"

(next words from "Dance Dance Revolution" the song)
    "Move your body!
    Mooooove your body!
    Oooo! Oooo-oooo!
    Move your body!
    Mooooove your body!
    Oooo! Oooo-oooo!"
(end lyrics from DDR the song)

    The cheering had let Sadako
Know that she had been beat
She climbed back in the CRT
    And shuffled on her feet
Yasu yelled on toward the well
"If you ever want to spar
I'll beat you again, you zombie b***h
Cause I'm the best at DDR!"

(next words from "Dance Dance Revolution" the song)
    "Move your body!
    Mooooove your body!
    Oooo! Oooo-oooo!
    Move your body!
    Mooooove your body!
    Oooo! Oooo-oooo!"

    Dance Dance Revolution!
