This was about the funniest song I had ever heard when I was a kid. It helped that my father's side of the family is Slovenian, with one of my aunts married to a Pole. My dad really got a kick from the line "where the streetcar bends the corner around." At one point I had developed a lip-sync act, complete with props, wigs and glasses for the different characters.
