One more update to make. Episode 50 has been recorded and will go up this Friday. However for next Friday's show I decided to postpone the Taylor Swift song parodies portion for another time. I don't know when because October's schedule is already scheduled, I have a few ideas for November and December's schedule is also planned. So it might wait until sometime in 2018 but personally I'm in no hurry for this because it was just a random idea I had in mind. But there could be a possibility that the Taylor Swift song parodies portion may never happen because of lack of interest. Don't take my word for it. All I can say is just be patient even if it might take a year.

With that said, the only thing that remains the same is the Two Of A Kind show, and next Friday's show will instead be another random show and what I have in mind so far is to play some songs I haven't had a chance to play that came out this year so far. I hope everyone enjoys this week's show when it's posted.

We have a schedule change. There will be no show this Friday so that means the 50th episode will be rescheduled for next Friday September 15th. That means the pirates show I had originally planned in honor of Talk Like A Pirate Day will be scrapped. However I will still play one or two pirate songs to still honor the holiday.

I have a show in mind for September 22nd. An entire half hour dedicated to Taylor Swift parodies. I do have some songs scheduled but I do need to find one more parody and I'm trying to not find parodies that spoof the same song because I don't want to play two parodies of the same song. I'm only doing that with one song and I don't want to do it twice.

And so far I am still keeping the Two Of A Kind show on schedule but if that changes I will make the announcement. That is my rescheduling announcement and I'm sorry for not having a show this week.

Tomorrow will be the last Wackiness On The Rise for the month of August. That means September is on the way and we'll have 5 shows coming up. Here's what's coming up so far.

9/29/17: two of a kind (two songs that are about the same subject)

We kick off the month with a random selection of songs, new and old, as well as a short dedication to the late Jerry Lewis. I already picked out the songs for the Jerry Lewis tribute. Also coming up is our 50th episode of Wackiness On The Rise and I have something special in mind for reaching that milestone. Third show of the month will be our annual pirates show to celebrate Talk Like A Pirate Day. Don't have anything in mind for the 22nd yet but as for the 29th this is something I had in mind in case my original idea for episode 50 didn't work. I call his one Two Of A Kind, and how this works is that I play two songs back to back that are about the same subject. Example, say two songs about The Toxic Avenger (which I don't know if there are any), one made by one artist and the other made by another. I play them back to back and I do the same for different songs for an entire hour. So that's what I have coming up for September so far, expect possible changes, and I hope everyone enjoys next month's shows.
