The only think I can think might be an issue is session timeout, which is 20 minutes. After that long it clears the session. Is that too short?

I might be able to utilize a cookie to help as well.

Wacky Ben:

I unfortunately am still having upload issues where every so often, the entire playlist is erased by the time I click to check for existing files. Dave said there was something I and the other DJs can do to keep the playlists from being erased constantly, and I'm willing to give it a try so I don't have to start from scratch again.

Glad to hear it, Captain! I'm hoping that this will fix the problems of doing the playlists so I can post my shows again! Been having a hard time putting all the songs in, only for it to be reduced to blanks when you click one of the buttons after some time. Either way, here's hoping I'll post the shows from last year and this year that I owe you guys. Many apologies because I was very busy with IRL duties.

Good luck with the migration. I found a hidden section in my Norton security that allows me to whitelist a couple of blacklisted links on your site so I can log in again (but I get warnings about bad scripts still for the time being). I might be posting some new shows at some point in the future.

Dedicating Sudden Death's "Take Back the Music" to Capt. Wayne this week!!!

Captain Wayne:

Due to the costs involved with the "Professionally Hosted" server that MadMusic is running on... I'm going to be making a change. The server is going to move "in-house", as in... my house!

I'm going to be setting up a new dedicated server here at my house and will be hosting the site in my basement. Yes, it sounds cheesy, but I just can't afford the $1,500 a year in hosting fees. I do have a very fast internet connection so you shouldn't see any speed issues.

As a result, with the server right here it'll be easier for me to "take back" the site... as in giving it my full attention. I have been criminally absent is maintaining the site and fixing problems, this will get me re-involved.

The downside is, I live in a rural, heavily-wooded bare of the state. That means we do loose power and internet at times for a few minutes... to a few days (sad!) due to storms taking down trees and therefore electrical lines. I hope you will understand that I'm doing what I can for a 'hobby website' and do care that it thrives. I'm trying!!!

Best of luck with the migration!  I know how much that sucks to do.
