fiogf49gjkf0d Some of you may have noticed a few changes about the site (like the little little red message top-center), but a lot more has been done - mostly stuff you cannot see.
However, there is more visual stuff coming. I want to redesign some of the pages to be more attractive and intuitive. I also want to change the color-theme on the site - but not for a while. One thing that will come soon is a fancy editor for forum/blog posts - something that will let you play with fonts, colors, etc. and include a spell-checker. That will be soon.
I'm also working to standardize the database and move to an "object-oriented' programming structure. It was my intent to do all this work, then roll it all out at once in a major upgrade. I'm thinking now that I probably should do this piecemeal otherwise this version becomes stagnant as the new version might take a full year to finalize. Some tings can't wait that long.
I'll let you all know the changes as they come out here in my blogs (plus perhaps some news items). No doubt you'll notice them, but a place to discuss them will be good too.
Oh, one more thing - I recently changed the way errors were handled - they used to result is a big, gaudy error page that you had to e-mail to me so I could fix the problem. No more! Now it gracefully takes you to a "oops" page and e-mails me all the details so I can fix it. Since I made this change I got the errors down from 40-50 a day to 3-4. It will also help with the new features... new feature = new code = new bugs. I'll be able to stomp them out quicker this way!

Bob Guest: --- If we knew anybody who knew how to work with Flash, then perhaps he could take his talents beyond just banners. (hint hint hint)

Medemia: --- How about some 3rd party developed games. If we can get more like facebook or myspace, maybe I wouldn't have to go there anymore.
Ok, maybe not.

fiogf49gjkf0d In the past, I was thinking of a Mad Music Journal. A magazine type section for articles (like on how to convert LPs to CDs and MP3s), member memerabia and so on. Hopefully a place for new members to browse through the contents page for some things that would be hard to find in the forums and blogs.
Donate buttons should be on each show's main page, not just the MMShow page, complete with (not publicly disclosed) tracking. Drop down box might be used to allow any support from any page, put would default to that show on it's page.
