  • Song Lyrics:
    Moe: Are you ready?
    Curly: Yeah, I'm ready.

A little tribute, to Curly and Moe,
Larry and Shemp, and a couple of Joes,
Vaudeville and movies, and TV shows,
    Slapstick comedy from way back,
    That we all know,

Larry: "One of us is crazy and it's not you".
    Moe: "Right".

Growing up, watching them every day on TV,
Their crazy antics were just so funny to me,
B.A. Bay, Bicky Bi Bo Bu,
You lamebrained numbskulls, What's the matter with you,

Oh yeah, the Stooges live on,
Long after that all, the Stooges are gone,
Oh yeah, the Stooges live on,
Long after that all, the Stooges are gone,

Curly: "Woo woo woo..." "Why coitenly".

Curly falls down, lays still for a moment,
Moe says, "Say a few sylables",
He says, "Hey Moe, I can't see",
"Well you moron, what's the matter with you",
Curly says, "Nuttin, I had my eyes closed, Nyuck Nyuck Nyuck",

We all say, Oh yeah, the Stooges live on,
Long after that all, the Stooges are gone,
Oh yeah you know the Stooges live on,
Long after that all, the Stooges are gone they rock on,

Moe: "Spread out", "You stay out of this".

Moe'd poke 'em in the eyes, and bonk their heads,
Tweak 'em on the nose, 'till their faces turned red,
For 50 years, they stuck to their plan,
Entertaining all of us, women and men,

    Curly: "Oh a wise guy".
Moe: "Niagra Falls, slowly I turned, step by step, inch by inch".

Oh yeah, the Stooges live on,
Long after that all, the Stooges are gone,
Oh yeah you know the Stooges live on,
Long after that all, the Stooges are gone,

A little tribute, to Curly and Moe,
Larry and Shemp, and a couple of Joes.

Dr. Demento: "That song by Gary Arnold. Thanks Gary".

    Hi there,

I'm Goofy Gary Arnold. I'm a long time Dr. D. fan, hiding out in Germany for the last 25 years. I feel like I'm the only D Fan in Germany.

My madmusic member login name is Doodlestheclown. I'm a semi-professional clown, guitarist, and unpublished songwriter.

I really love the new dementia you guys are putting out. I stopped listening to mundane music a few years ago, and only listen to dementia radio and madmusic.com, like 24/7.

One of the highlights of my life was around 1989 when I mailed a song request to Dr. D. and he played it and said my name on the air! And I got it on tape! So, a little cutting and pasting and... Knew that would flip you guys out!

I'm really happy with how well my parody came out. Enjoy.

Look on the contest page. There it is! Couldn't find anything about this anywhere else; found 3 musicians named Gary Arnold -- a preacher, a pedal steel guitar guy, and an electronic new age composer. Don't think it's any of those.

The song ends with what certainly sounds like Dr.Demento's voice, but it doesn't sound like Dr. D said all those words in that order at the same time, and nothing on his site about this.

By the way, it doesn't look like you need to be a Mad Music member to upload an entry using

    www.madmusic.com/stooges-upload.aspx

so who entered/uplaoded this is a myatery, as is the artist (if a different person).
