New segment later today. Uncle can only do just so much at a time these days.

The damn "unread forum posts" link is broken again - but only on certain page types. I got a server error when trying to go from the homepage to the artist forum. Something's screwy, but I'm not bothering Wayne with it on Xmas weekend. If he wasn't responding before, he definitely won't now.

Maybe after Xmas.

Ok, so it's like this.

In the next day or so, I'll post the first half of show 221. It was delayed due to a show shoveling accident. As I always say - Don't laugh, you'll be 72 someday. When I do, the show Dave just posted will vanish from the homepage as there can't be 2 TMMS there at the same time. Show 2 will be dated the day I finished assembling (but not recording) it - last Saturday.

I'll leave a link to his show on the Xmas 2 show page or you can just use that show's thread.

The longer I wait, the longer it will take to post show 4. It's also complete except for the very end, which I left in case there were any new songs I wanted to add. It's unlikely to be posted before Xmas, but it took until April to finish the last Xmas show in 2013/14, so this sort of thing has happened before.

This will be posted this week. Oh, not all at once, of course...

Dave's show will be out first - even though it's Xmas show 3 and this is show 2. Be sure to listen to his show when it's posted.

Show 4 will likely be finished after Xmas, but there's nothing new about that. It took me until April to finish a 3+ hour Mad Music Special in 2013-14. ...Christ, has it really been 4 years since then?!

But some of it was posted at the proper time. That's the important bit.

It seems Uncle has sorted out this show. Having a look at a finished part of the script, I can see that this show's not so much generic as...clinically insane. I guess he's not willing to change what TMMS is about after all. He remains as he always is. "Semper Idem"

There's some new stuff in the request segment and smattered about the rest of the show, but he mostly sticks to the classics - old & new. Especially in the Hanukkah segment. This show is considerably cleaner than the first as well. But it's by no means SFW.

And segment 3 is strange even for Uncle. Maybe he should change the show title.

Feeling better now. This show is on again.

The great TMMS experiment. "Does it make a damn bit of difference if I make a well thought out script & use gimmicks, fake-outs & silly voices to make a more interesting show or just play the songs & f-ing announce?" No gimmicks; no (excessive) embellishment, minimal chatter.

We're about to find out.

The Xmas request segment will be moved to this show. Having it in what's now the final Xmas show makes it look like an afterthought. I'm not having that. The Hanukkah segment has to go here, too. Those 8 days will be over if I leave it until show 4.
