Archaeology can be really, really boring, so the entire bit revolves around the silly conflict concerning the height of the archaeologists. This "focus on the silly because the main subject is boring" premise is the same one used in the "Arthur 'Two Sheds' Jackson" bit from series 1. (Stavro Arrgolus)
