One of the few shows of the 2nd series with a more or less official title, 'Royal Episode 13' is, indeed, the 13th episode of the 2nd series. The unifying gag of this show is that the Queen is supposed to be watching it and since one is always supposed to stand in the Queen's presence, everyone on the TV show has to stop whatever sketch they're doing and stand up whenever she tunes in to it. This is indicated by the playing of "God Save the Queen" interrupting the sketch.
She doesn't watch the episode very long in any of the several times she tunes in, presumably because any entertainment value stops and everyone stands up whenever she does. (Stavro Arrgolus) |
