Best known as magazine and namesake of the National Lampoon, the Harvard Lampoon put out an album of song parodies in 1968. Some National Lampoon founders like Chris Cerf and Henry Beard we involved in the songwriting. Songs parodied Dylan, The Lovin' Spoonful, and others. (RealityChuck)
Reviews:
Somewhat uneven. The best is good (17 Miles from Waukeegan My Cantelope Died is a nice Bob Dylan parody), but overall the album is too gentle to be good satire.- RealityChuck
