Focus Magazine Review Jimmie Vestal 7" 45 RPM Vinyl "That's All Right" b/w "My Precious Love" Vestal notes in his photocopy to us that Elvis Presley's first 45 was also entitled "That's All Right." Any reader who has an original on the Sun label should send it to us right away! Who needs those pesky 45s, right? Unlike the King's version, Vestal's "That's All Right" is an original that's part blues/part rockabilly, that pinched a good nerve with us. His guitar has this spectacular twang that's just slightly out-of-key, and that would put a good hurt on Dave Edmunds (oh, where art thou?). Nice effort. The B-side is more of a standard ballad, with a polka accordion for that brauts-soaked-in-beer flavor. Our copy came on see-thru blue vinyl, so suffer you collector scum. - JukeboxArtist
