Formed in 1964, The Big Roll Band were a popular attraction on the London R'n'B club scene where they had a residency at the Flamingo.

One of the great showmen of the time, Zoot loved dressing up and had the band photographed in a variety of costumes to promote their records. Their record sales were disappointing however, and Money disbanded the group in 1967.
