I learned acoustic guitar, own my own, with no formal lessons,
when I was about 14yrs old or so. I had a little music group
back in the 1960's. Just a few friends of mine. I think we
had big dreams, then we grew up, split up, and gave up.
I decided to pick a little on my own after not playing for
over 32yrs. That was when I found out I forgot more than
I ever knew. I wanted to try to make some digital recordings
of my music, using what I had learned before leaving my
radio job. At that time, putting the recordings on the
internet was not a part of the plan at all. I later thought
"on the air" on the internet, whats the difference. I was
O.K. on the air, and thought the internet might be the
way to get back out there, now that my radio career was
over. I used my first name Zan, and put the music out
under the name Zan The Man, that way I could retreat and
hide again if I wanted to. Thats my story. Here I am. I still
don't know how I got on this website. I guess you might
say my "Mad Cow" wandered off on its own. Thanks

Reviews:
Facts:
(Zan From Wichita Falls, Texas) - I worked as a D.J. at KWFT-AM radio in Wichita Falls for many years, until computer automation began to dominate the radio broadcast industry, and many announcers like me, had to find another career. I am retired now and use that same computer technology, to share hit music with an audience again. I did enjoy writing and recording my own songs, even though I no longer record. Updated 4/7/19
