There's no escaping it. This is a nasty, nasty episode. Except for the "Old Fart Corner" in the middle which is likely the cleanest mini-segment there's ever going to be. Was this show assembled purposely this way? Probably. (Stavro Arrgolus) |
"Old Fart Corner" is a novel concept that puts to work all those public domain songs we have in the archive that never get played. It also keeps the podcast from becoming a complete FuMPfest. Along with everything else, it has its own crappily made theme intro. (Stavro Arrgolus) |
The title, if you didn't already know, is a Steven Wright line from his first album, "I Have A Pony". Does that make the line by itself copyrighted material at all? I chose not to take the chance, so if you listen to the show, you'll notice that the title is never actually spoken in it - just in case. Wayne doesn't need the lawyers after him again.
