I don't get dressed up for that as the reaction tends to be along the lines of "My God, isn't that pitiful" or "Call the cops! It's a stalker!" There's definitely a "use by" date on this Halloween participation thing and at some point, you have to let it go.

fiogf49gjkf0d I was discussing this with my wife the other day. I thought that I would dress up like Santa Claus this Halloween. I got the idea from all the stores that had their Christmas stuff out by October 1st.

fiogf49gjkf0d Psycho ward, eh.... The events detailed in my song, "Rosedale Manor" were inspired by personal experience of my time at the (former) Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital in Toronto. Don't laugh... I wasn't an inmate (in spite of the fact that my family coat of arms may or may not tie at the back)... I was working. At the time, the grounds were often leased out to film companies. I sometimes did extra work and did appear in two Police Academy movies, which had some sets there. I also did night security work for a (never released) sequel to Billy Jack. It was on that assignment that I encountered either the ghosts of the deceased inmates or the demons that drove them mad.
BTW... Rosedale Manor is a Halloween song.... Please vote for it in the Mad Music Dementia Top Twenty and the Mad Music Show.

(Last year I dug out the repairman's clip-onto-the-wires industrial strength telephone to hang from my belt, a few other tools, shirt like he wore most often to The Phone Company and I had an insta-costume. To bad I gave away the hard hat).
