Zdravstvuyte. As it says to the left, I am Viscount Vyslo, distant great uncle of Stavro Arrgolus & father of Tyro Arrgula - neither of whom are here right now. More importantly, they're not making new shows. This post is more or less an explanation why.
First, the easy part. Tyro has returned to Cornwall (in SW England, if you failed geography or didn't Google it) and is taking on some 'castle maintenance'. It's something every vampire has to deal with sooner or later when you live in a massive thousand year structure that has no heating or plumbing - not that any of us require such things.
A popular Chinese curse says, "May you live in interesting times." Young Stavro has had one hell of an interesting week.
He had two hospital appointments this week, but that was the easy part. To pass a car inspection, he had to replace his now illegible license plates (they were 32 years old), requiring a horrifying trip to the "RMV" - whatever that is, but he made it sound extremely nasty.
He also had to renew his driver's license at the same time. After all of that, he still failed the car inspection for what he described as "bullshit 'computer reset' reasons." They told him to 'drive 100 miles to reset the car computer' and get it inspected again on Monday. He says it's a scam.
It's been a while since I've seen him this pissed off about anything. He was shouting and pounding on things without regard to the frailty of the pitiful hands you living people have.
Suffice it to say, there will be no new Mad Music shows until this incomprehensible foolishness ends. I can't make one. Computers are for the "under 100" crowd. I also don't have something called "admin or DJ status", or so I'm told. I will occasionally commandeer any of Stavro's Halloween shows this year, though, if only to bring a little chaos to the proceedings. Assuming this gets resolved and there actually are any.
If there aren't, young Stavro says to listen to the site's "24/7 Halloween radio stream" - another foreign concept to us old European vampires. He says, "Even if I can't make shows, they need never be without Halloween tunes to hear."
There, I've relayed his message. Now I'm going back to 'bed'. I've been awake far too long during daytime.
"Goodnight out there, whatever you are!" Yes, I know. That sounded really cheesy....
