I haven't been here in a while. Hope you enjoyed the holiday shows heard on this website mad music dot com.
As you're aware, I stopped production of my show "I Still Get Demented" in the middle of October of 2017 right after I produced Halloween 2017 Part 1. I promised part 2, but my guess is that my show won't resume production until I have a place to record and produce my show. If that means I move into my own rental, then so be it. I'm no longer producing the shows at home with me recording the announcements in a car. To be honest, my show sounded like shit. It sounded like I was disembodied from the rest of the show. I got tired of being hounded by transients coming to my car and I thought I was going to get car jacked many times. Also I got tired of recording in the hot weather here. Nowadays, I have no time and no place to do a show. I'm working about 60 hours a week between three jobs to fill up the time. Hopefully with Section 8 and some government assistance or whatever, I could afford a small rental of my own so I can get broadband installed there and set up the equipment to do a show that sounds more live than voice-tracked. As you may have noticed on some of the shows, some of the music tracks and voice announcements were a bit jumbled up in some places and I never bothered to fix them.
So far, no plans to resume my show in the near future. I'm not ruling out resuming production. So for now, the show's on hold I hope for no more than three years. Yikes!
