This is one of those times we go by what the artist wants. The album cover has just 2 words on it: "Shoes" & "Kelly". I think that says it all.
In this scenario, we leave the names & titles as the artist intended and simply add the real names and who's acting as what character to the 'facts' on song pages & the a.k.a. on artist pages. That's what we made the damn things for - to maximize info about the songs & artists. ...And credit everything & everyone to avoid getting sued by copyright lawyers.
This whole "artist's conceptualization comes first" thing goes back several years and got implemented in one of the site upgrades - though I can't remember which one.
The opposite of this are the seiyuus who only voice characters and aren't playing one themselves.
