  • Song Lyrics:
You could probably say I'm difficult
    I probably talk too much
    I over-analyze and over-think things
    Yes, it's a nasty crutch

I'm usually only waiting for you to stop talking
    So that I can
Concerning 2 way streets I have to say
That I am not a fan

But I am the greatest living creature
    You are ever gonna meet
From the top of my head
Down to the tips of the toes on my feet

So go ahead and love me while it's still a crime
And don't forget you could be laughing
65 percent more of the time
    You could be laughing
65 percent more of the time

Half of the time I think I'm in some movie
I play the underdog, of course
I wonder who they'll get to play me, maybe
They could dig up Richard Burton's corpse

I am not who you think I am
I am quite angry which I barely can conceal
You think I hate myself; it's you I hate
Because you have the nerve to make me feel

But I am the greatest living creature
    You are ever gonna meet
From the top of my head
Down to the tips of the toes on my feet

So go ahead and love me while it's still a crime
And don't forget you could be laughing
65 percent more of the time
    You could be laughing
65 percent more of the time

But I am the greatest living creature
    You are ever gonna meet
From the top of my head
Down to the tips of the toes on my feet

So go ahead and love me while it's still a crime
And don't forget you could be laughing
65 percent more of the time
    You could be laughing
63 percent more of the time
    You could be laughing
25 percent more of the time

I use to play censored versions of songs on my show partially due to the fact that when I was posting my shows to archive.org I wanted to be careful with the fact that people I know who have kids could be listening. The fact that I have the radio edit version of GMF and not the uncensored version is because I needed the radio edit for my live show at WQNA. Since I stopped posting my shows to archive.org I decided to let go of censoring songs and go with the flow. But sometimes a song that is censored can still sound funny and I don't think it has to do with kids listening or someone "being offended."

I know, but these radio edit pages have an important purpose as far as making shows go. Those who make 'clean' shows for whatever reason (I thoroughly disapprove, but whatever floats your boat) need pages with clean song versions for said shows.

I know, but these radio edit pages have an important purpose as far as making shows go. Those who make 'clean' shows for whatever reason (I thoroughly disapprove, but whatever floats your boat) need pages with clean song versions for said shows.

I'm still finding pages with good songs that have censored mp3s that have no business being there, so these 'radio edit' pages are mainly to keep that from happening.

It's true, these added pages have no dementia merit of their own and can indeed play hell with show voting. They're meant only to serve a utilitarian purpose in show making. Especially the 'bleeped version' pages. Those are the lowest of them all, aren't they? No effort is made to tone down the lyrics. Just a buzz over the offending word.

Of course, if you're Carla Ulbrich, you can turn that into something, but not everyone makes the effort. Naturally, I'm not at all happy about acknowledging the censoring of anything, but radio edit pages help solve a known problem, so....

...it also makes this song harder to tabulate votes in the Mad Music Top 20, as for the purposes of the chart, they are functionally the same song.

I was the one that did the merge... mainly because in the past we usually haven't put up censored versions as separate entries unless the censored version gains its own notoriety (like the different versions of Carla Ulbrich's "If I Had the Copyright"). With this song, the only difference is a vanished verse and replacement of two repeated words. It would be like creating separate pages for Cee Lo Green's "Fuck You" and "Forget You".

However since I now know you put this page up in the first place, I defer to you.

Though, on a lesser note, it also makes this song harder to tabulate votes in the Mad Music Top 20, as for the purposes of the chart, they are functionally the same song.

It was pointed out to me that this radio edit page I made mysteriously vanished.

Being a rather tenacious bastard, I made another one. If this one vanishes as well, I'd like an explanation from the responsible party. For right now, there's only one valid one:

"The release date for the album is May 14th."

This sort of thing has never stopped us before and the full, uncensored video of this is already on YouTube, so having a mysterious page vanishing here makes no sense.
