This is an Elvis Presley cover, coicentidentlly Kurt being an Elvis fan, Kurt played Elvis in the movie, Elvis The Movie as well playing an Elvis impersonator in 3000 Miles to Graceland and Kurt's first movie he was in Elvis' It Happened at the World's Fair, Kurt was the kid who kicked Elvis on the shin. Kurt sings the song in this movie in a homeage to Elvis while singing in the mic like the way Elvis did in many movies and early live performaces. And a bonus, Kurt sings the song in a jail cell. That ties in that "Santa Claus Is Back In Town" when Elvis recorded it was same sessions when he was recording music and filming for Jailhouse Rock. (Halfshell)
