Wow! Has it been almost a year since I posted an episode of Wackiness On The Rise to this site? Well we know why I was unable too and it looks like I'll be able to post shows once again after nine months. Starting tomorrow I will be posting all episodes of Wackiness On The Rise from September of 2021 to this month. And as it says in the title, the show is in a new direction once again and I will explain.
After my April 1st show, I got tired of going an hour so I decided to once again turn the show into a half hour. So now every episode as of April 8th now only is 30 minutes, but we are only able to play six songs and the Dumb Newsbreak right in the middle. The first half has the first three songs, then in the middle is the Dumb Newsbreak, and in the second half is the last three set of songs. Then I announce the websites of every artist I played at the end of the show. This new direction is sort of working out except for the fact that I find myself recording shows a week or sometimes two in advance that I miss out on what's trending. I got burned out from an hour and thought maybe a half hour would work out better and so far it has been minus the one flaw I just mentioned.
So starting tomorrow I will start posting every episode from September of 2021 and I don't know how long it'll take so expect a few days of posting shows all the way until tonight's show which won't be posted until sometime later. And again that all depends on how long it takes for me to post the other shows. This new direction also means that I won't be posting anymore three month playlists to let you know what is coming up as we won't be having topics anymore minus the holiday themed shows like Halloween, Christmas and Talk Like a Pirate Day among other holidays. I hope everyone enjoys the upcoming past episodes and the new direction.
