Topic: Sunday Funnies facing technical difficulties

One last update. It seems that everything is working out with this new software I'm trying out, so instead of waiting until the first Sunday of March, I will have a brand new episode on Sunday February 23rd instead. Right now, I have the main show recorded, needs to be edited and then put everything together, and later I will be recording the Dumb Newsbreak which I was in the process of recording but got interrupted and delayed.

 

So Sunday Funnies will be back this coming Sunday, and hopefully I'll get the hang of this new software, Amadeus Pro.

Very quick update. I just downloaded a different recording software called Amadeus Pro. Recommended by Devo Spice. So far, it seems to be handy, I just need to work out some other details that I hope are similar to Audacity. So, I am still postponing production of Sunday Funnies until I get the hang of this new software. I will still keep Audacity for other purposes that Amadeus might not be able to do. As planned, I will resume production in March, meaning Sunday Funnies will be off for the next two weeks starting tomorrow. Hopefully I will get the hang of this different software as I have been using Audacity for 14 to 15 years. But there comes a time for change.

Just a little update. I did find an alternative to recording my show, but I don't think I'll be sticking with this new way until I get my Audacity fixed. And by fixed, upgrading to the latest which is impossible especially since they insist on an iCloud account. To hell with iCloud. So I decided to record next Sunday's show, which is the first Valentine show for Sunday Funnies since I didn't have one last year (not by choice), and after that, I'm still putting the show on hiatus until I get the technical difficulties taken care of. I hope to be back in production in March. Otherwise, I may stick to the new strategy I worked out.

I have no choice but to postpone production of Sunday Funnies with Wacky Ben due to technical difficulties. My Audacity keeps crashing on me during editing, and it may have to due to the fact that it's an outdated version. I tried to download the latest version but it's impossible. Then I tried Garageband, and that too is impossible to even edit. So unfortunately, because I'm technology impaired and I've had a terrible relationship with technology for 21 years during my days at WQNA, I have no choice but to put the show on hiatus until I get this crap fixed. I could just record my lines and not edit since mu Audacity doesn't crash during the recording process, but how am I suppose to edit and put everything together such as background music, the opening and closing theme, and the songs I plan to play without the software constantly crashing?
