I decided that after our January 30th show on Wacky Ben's Laff Attack, I will be holding off on topics for either awhile or for good.

The reason is because since the show is two hours and I do topics for a half hour at the beginning of hour two, I didn't want to make the show look too similar to The Dr. Demento Show especially when the final half hour jumps to the Wacky 5 because... Funny 5? So I'm trying to think of one last topic for the January 30th show, and then after that, no more topics. Like I said, it might be temporary or permanent. However, there might be moments where I will still dedicate a half hour to a certain subject including my tribute to Logan Whitehurst's 20th anniversary in December (and saying that just hurts), and when it comes to our two main holiday shows, Halloween and Christmas, they will still be an entire episode.

My new idea is that in between various sets, I will have a short portion to a few songs that have one thing in common. Example, coming up on this Friday's show, three songs about Bigfoot. So about 10 minutes or 15 minutes or less of songs that focus on the same subject. Plus I am looking into other segments such as the continuing Root Canal Track as soon as I find more bad songs but mind you that won't be a weekly segment. Plus starting in February our special Friday The 13th track where any month that has a Friday the 13th, I play a song that's associated with bad luck and superstitions, and on some occasions the Friday the 13th franchise. Mind you, this segment will be a rare moment. I'm also considering a segment on novelty chart toppers, jukebox favorites, and something I like to call "You Can't Play That On The Radio" where I play a song that mainstream radio would not let a DJ get away with playing because of the controversial subject. Example: Julie Brown's "The Homecoming Queen's Got A Gun."

That's what I have planned so far, and I'll continue to think of a final topic for my January 30th show. Then after that, topics are on hiatus or done for good.
