This was Barnes & Barnes stab at taking their music seriously and not making novelty tunes again between 1981 & 1983. Thank god for their sake and the sake of their fans, they decided to come back home after this project. (czwrefsteven)

	Although several tracks have been available previously, this is the first ever release of the complete Kodovoner LP recorded by Barnes & Barnes between December 1981 and June 1983. The CD begins with the five songs from 1983's Soak It Up EP, followed by the 10 songs intended for Kodovoner. Four of the 10 have been released previously: "Scary Love" and "I Got a Job" (better known as "I Hate the Boss") on 1986's Sicks and "Fighting the Demon" and "Don't Fuck Up the World" on 2000's Yeah: The Essential Barnes & Barnes. However, the Kodovoner version of "Fighting the Demon" includes additional overdubs which are missing on the Yeah: The Essential Barnes & Barnes version. Although two versions of "So Bold" have been released before (on the I Had Sex With E.T. EP and Yeah: The Essential Barnes & Barnes), this is a previously unavailable third version. Of the bonus tracks, only "If You Hurt No One" has been released before (on the I Had Sex With E.T. EP and Yeah: The Essential Barnes & Barnes), although "A Power Play" is somewhat familiar since its instrumental backing track played over the closing credits of the Zabagabee video. "Everything You Do" is an early incarnation of "The Ballad of Jim Joy."
