Hey Cap'n!
I posted two new parodies to my MadSpace file cabinet. Please check 'em out. One is inspired by the new redesign of Facebook profile pages and the many complaints being posted by Facebook users about it. The parody is titled "Timeline" to the tune of the 60's pop love ballad "Venus".

The other is for anyone who has known the agony of waiting for the rendering to complete on a complex media or graphics file (videos, CAD drawings, fine art prints, etc etc etc). Though it's specifically written about waiting for a video file to render, it applies just as well (as I am told by the architects and artists who have heard it) to other computer users and files (as mentioned above). It's to the tune of an old folk song ("Wanderin'") and is titled "Renderin'".

I hope you get a laugh out of them.

Thanks for maintaining the excellence of the dementia quotient here on MadMusic.com and for letting me be a part of it!

In case I haven't mentioned it before, thanks Cap'n!! I truly enjoy your site and show, and have told many friends about it to try to spread the word. I hope that your shows continue for as long as you still enjoy doing them. It means a lot to many of us, and would be sorely missed if it were gone. Not that I am trying to hound you for a new show! I quite enjoy listening to the old shows and other features here, and am happy enough with whatever pace suits you. Don't let this become a chore, a burden, or an obligation. Rather, let it remain a hobby that gives you (and not incidentally, others) joy.
