I love children! Do you love children? We must exchange recipes!
Is that a hamster in your pocket or are you just glad to see me...? |
Music |
Yes. Oh, you want specifics...? Ummm, well, obviously novelty and comedy material, electronica and obscuria. Rock, country, easy listening, classical...did I miss any...? |
Movies |
Sci-fi, westerns, war, action. |
Television |
Firefly, Babylon 5, Star Dreck...er, Trek. Any other sci-fi. Otherwise, good story telling is my main requirement. NCIS, any of the CSIs, Criminal Minds...Davinci's Inquest is my guilty pleasure. |
Books |
Sci-fi...big surprise! |
Heroes |
My grandpa, a master storyteller. He taught me much. I wish I had listened more. In fiction, Michael Garabaldi in Babylon 5, and any other rogue hero. Han Solo, The Outrageous Okona, Dr. Who, Racer X, Sugar Bear...if you are old enough to remember the "Linus the Lion Hearted" cartoon, Sugar Bear was a happy-go-lucky character, completely unflappable and always managed to step in at a tense moment and save the day. You could do a lot worse for a hero. |
