As always, Eli's in the wrong here. HeeBeeGeeBees should not be confused with The Hebe GeeBees that played "Night Fever". So the band, song, and airdate that they were played on should be separated from this page, and given their own. Here's the proof, and the description of the video says it better than I would:

Again, please correct this error. The Hebe GeeBees who did "Night Fever" are not the same as HeeBeeGeeBees. That is all.

Oh, and give the HeeBeeGeeBees a new Artist ID # as well.

Had a look. As it turns out, one is an actual punk band from the end of the '70s and the other is from the imagination of the generation of British comedians that gave us Not The Nine O'Clock News and The Young Ones, among other things - proving once again that trolls are not to be believed.

Hi All, been a while since I last visited. Just to clarify the HeeBeeGeeBees consisted of comedians Angus Deayton, Philip Pope and Michael Fenton-Stevens and originally featured in the 80's BBC Radio comedy show Radio Active. The show also featured Helen Atkinson-Wood (Mrs Miggins in Blackadder) and the late Geoffrey Perkins and it evolved into KYTV when it transferred to TV. The group released two albums of parodies in the same vein - 439 Golden Greats and 20 Big Number Two's. Groups and artists that they parodied included Status Quo (Status Quid), Michael Jackson (Jack Michaelson) and Lionel RichTea (Lionel Ritchie). Before Covid they did a couple of theatre tours performing two episodes from Radio Active which included a few of the songs from these albums.
