Facts:
  • Reggie For Christmas was local CT morning DJ on KC101, "Hammerhead's" 1982 Christmas record. 'Hozay Smith' is being interviewed by the Hammerhead about seeing George Steinbrenner on Santa's lap asking for Reggie Jackson for Christmas. He had signed a contract with the Angels (hence the lyric "and Reggie likes sunny California anyway") and Steinbrenner wanted him back. The single was sold at area 7-11 stores. All profits went to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. (Stavro Arrgolus)
  • The name is purposely spelled in that manner with an 'H' - "Hozay". (Stavro Arrgolus)
