Show Facts:
This is the first of two shows with a 'goodbye to summer' sub-theme. This sub-theme will finish up next week with a show about hot things and places, after which one of the show's recurring themes will return. "Organ Grinder" is just one of the recurring themes that will reappear every few months. Not so often as to allow you to become tired of them; we're talking months here. What will the others be?
"Sore wa himitsu desu"

Thank you. There are 3 full 2 hour H'ween shows & 4 Xmas shows (i.e., the standard number) planned for this year. Perhaps you'd like to guest host again during a pivotal week or 2 to give me an actual chance at making them all...

Holiday shows are easy enough for me to make. No clever silliness, just compile the songs. One Halloween show made months ago is already nearly complete. I used ideas from it in another show so it'll have to be reworked a bit...
What would help aren't full shows but rather a couple of MMH made
before
each holiday sequence (maybe just 1 before Halloween) so the shows wouldn't have to stop yet again and I'd have time to get a bit ahead of things.
H'ween isn't so difficult, but for Xmas, there's always new stuff you can't anticipate that you want to add and you can't just tack it on, you have to mix it in with the rest...so it can't be made months in advance - not all of it, anyway. Either that or confine everything new to one show. Not good. And forget about mentioning anything topical. No, you have to make those things during the season...or I do, anyway.
Making MMH would be easier for you as it is for me. Less planning is involved. You could make 2 or 3 in the time it takes me to make 1. The added bonus is that the theme can be something there aren't as many songs about...meat, for instance.
The actual dates would be the week of 10/6 and the 2 weeks of 11/17 and 11/24.
