The Mad Music Hour #186 - April 20, 2014
Topic: Easter Bunny? Bring Out The Holy Hand Grenade Of Antioch!
This show is Explcicit

This week, our annual Easter show. Easter is the most ecclesiastical of our holidays. Consequently, we never know when the hell it's going to be. There's a formula that can be followed, but most of us are too busy actually having lives to work it out every year, so we don't bother. For most of us, Easter is an excuse to go off our diets and eat jellybeans & Peeps® & giant chocolate bunnies. Here's some music to munch to.

Show Facts:
I finished this show at 1 am on Easter Sunday. This is why the final sequence of segment 3 is rather plain and unembellished. There's also a certain element of insensitivity in that segment that can also be credited to the lateness of the completion hour. Not that I'm in the habit of being sensitive in the first place. Just Can't Leave Well Enough Alone: The final segment is ostensibly a celebration of spring, but two songs with characters representing very non-spring-like holidays break in. Also, no spring celebration is complete without a salute to 4/20 & the wonders of pot culture, right? And it all ends with everyone getting crucified. Maybe that's why they call it a Mad Music Show.
