I'm up there with you on the Mother's Taffy Cookies as well as my own homemade Snickerdoodles. But alas I too have had to change the way I eat so weight loss can occur (total 72lbs in the last 1 1/2 yrs. still more to go) and the Cookies are now only a figment of my imagination (and what an imagination I have). My oven is crying these days - Poor Thing...

fiogf49gjkf0d My mother in law has a recipe for cookies made from regular potatoe chips. They are always a big hit when I share them with my friends. They will be an item available in the con suite at FilKONtario in 2009. (My wife is in charge of the con suite next year.) So I guess you'll have to plan the trip to Toronto to sample them.
BTW.... Talk Like A Pirate Day is always the 19th of September... That's tomorrow.

fiogf49gjkf0d When I first got my new computer, it said I should enable cookies, so I put a chocolate chip cookie in the cd slot, but the computer wouldn't take it, so I ate it myself.

fiogf49gjkf0d I fit into my size 36 pants again for the first time in 30 years after losing 60+ lbs. As you might guess, I don't eat all that many cookies- though at one time, I did have a thing for chocolate chip...

fiogf49gjkf0d My Favorite happen to be "Oatmeal Raisin" and "Frosted Oatmeal" but I don't think I've had too many cookies I don't like:) We all have our own favorites, so that's cool not to like Raisin or Oatmeal, if everyone liked the same stuff-we'd be a boring existence. . .
