fiogf49gjkf0d Don't quite think so. They weren't smoking in bed and British actors are notorious for their Socialism, so they never vote Republican..or Conservative. But British and Canadian comedy...is there a comparison? That could be a good forum topic. Monty Python, Kids in the Hall- contrast and compare.

Stavro Arrgolus: --- These days, when the fuzz shows up, you get 'hit on the head' lessons whether you want them or not.

fiogf49gjkf0d The "Unread Forum Posts!" links provide a function that accomplishes much of that, without making the threads otherwise unavailable.
The only threads I notice to take any length of time to load are the YouTube threads (mostly because YouTube sometimes takes so long to load their images), but we usually do pretty good at making sure the thread is changed every quarter.
Tim P. Ryan: --- An alternative would be a 'forget' button, which would take the thread off of your thread lists. Another would be 'sleep', which would make sure it does not come up in your browsing unless there is new activity on it.
fm123: --- You know, that is one feature we do not have on this site, the ability to close or lock a thread.
Might be nice to have such a feature, so we can close some of the long, slow loading threads, and simply start another one, if needed.
