fiogf49gjkf0d We're playing 'find the rat' now? "It's behind the strawberry!"

Stavro Arrgolus: --- The 'rat in it' might be behind that big berry in the middle. These days, those guys have no trouble adding rat if they think it'd be a laugh. And you have to tip them after, too. Best to stay the hell out of those places, I think. If you make it yourself, the rats are optional.
fm123: --- I see they're in Bullhead City, AZ. That's right across the river from Laughlin, Nevada. Next time I'm in Vegas, I'll take a drive down there and order one slice of strawberry tart.

fiogf49gjkf0d I bet playing 'find the fish' is easy enough there. "I wonder where that fish could be?"

fiogf49gjkf0d How about spam, egg, sausage, Vista and spam? That's not got much Bill Gates in it.

fiogf49gjkf0d Well there's spam, egg, sausage and spam. That's not got much spam in it.

Stavro Arrgolus: --- Same here, so their map confirms. Never heard of them.

fiogf49gjkf0d CAPTION: 'ONE SLICE OF STRAWBERRY TART WITHOUT SO MUCH RAT IN IT LATER'
Man: Appalling.
peterpuck9: --- I'll have a slice without so much rat in it later.
Stavro Arrgolus: --- Yes, but without so much rat in it. Only 3. Rather a lot, really.

peterpuck9: --- Was it strawberry?
Stavro Arrgolus: --- You know the New Depression's on when they line up for hours to get free "food" at Denny's. You'd be better off staying at home and eating a pop tart. That's what I did. Though I'm reasonably sure there isn't a Denny's within 30 miles of here so the question is moot.

fiogf49gjkf0d I remember Perkins when I lived back east, but the 3 states out west where I've been living for the past 30 years, don't have any - www.perkinsrestaurants.com/locations

fiogf49gjkf0d Was it strawberry? Actually, we don't have a Denny's that close either (that I know of) I really don't like it. I like IHOP or Perkins myself.

fiogf49gjkf0d But what's laughingly called "food" there is still crap, right? And their reputation for 'questionable customer service' is worse now. Or so I've heard. I don't go to restaurants, crappy or not. It makes the solitary business of dinner seen even more solitary. Rather eat a frozen pizza.
fm123: --- If you haven't been to a Denny's since 1983, that's 26 years ago. You would be shocked to see how much the menu prices have changed.
What was $1.99 back then, is more like 4 times the price today!

fiogf49gjkf0d Considering what's in the cities, "nowhere" is good. I'm "trying not to be seen". And if I remember correctly, there was one on the other side of Worcester in the southeast near Millbury- at least there was one the last time I was there...in 1983. I exaggerate just a bit. It's probably only 20 or 25 miles.
fm123: --- You must be out in the middle of nowhere. Do you have to drive all the way to Beantown to find a Denny's?
