In addition, you can load up any playlist of any show to see a selection of songs for ideas on what songs to vote on, then click a song title, and hit "Vote" on the page.

Hence one of the reasons you outlined why I quit the DT20 after 2007. Doubling the votes for my songs? True. Not mentioned by you: doubling the votes for other people's songs. Also true. Another reason: passwords were being shared via e-mail to my album owner's friends who didn't buy them (everybody got a different password when they bought one of my albums), thus making extra work for me to filter out (successfully) the people who used the duplicated passwords. I also got tired of being #1 after the second year in a row and the DT20 was losing its cred, in fact, it was already a joke when I shut down the project in 2007.
I'm not going to mention the names of some of the people using the ill-obtained passwords they did not earn because it would not be cool.
I did get enough money from the sales to restart dfsxradio in 2008 with a lower priced stream (the one prior to July 2007 cost me $480 a year for 1 gig of song storage, the smaller 250 mb one cost around $120 a year). My album sales were helping to pay for some of the costs of renting the stream from live365.
Anyway, I learned from all of the mistakes I made and the loopholes that allowed the chart to become one for the artists instead of one for the listeners, its real intended purpose. The 2014 year of the FT40 run by me addresses all of the shortcomings of the old DT20, the new DT20, and the previous years FT10/20/30 weekly charts. One big notice is no Quick Ballot or the old style implied endorsements of the songs listed on the now defunct DT era of the DT20 ballots. People can type in any qualified song they want in a minute.

What I said was that purchasing your albums caused those people's votes to count with more weight than those who did not purchase. The result was that your fans' votes counted more, and they were more likely to vote for your stuff, which is why your songs placed higher than normal. Simple math.

As much as I would like to see other comedy musicians join the FuMP the only one you mentioned that I disagree on is Shane Dawson because in my opinion he's not funny hence why I don't play his songs on my show except that one time on the musical turkeys episode back in 2012.
