I was born in Georgia Bay
runt of the litter I was one of eight.
Home was a run down alley way

a year and a half and I’m feelin strong
on top of the world what could go wrong.
next thing I knew I was muzzled and bound
found myself sitting in the local pound
caged so tight I couldn't move around,
playin the prayin hard luck hound,
3 weeks in and freedom sounds,
a family with kids come to get me out.

I was feelin fine happy as can be,
playin ball with my new family,
but so much changed when I turned three,
the kids got busy, I got chained to tree.
from a steel cage to a steel chain,
trapped outside sleeping in the rain.
but being wet never caused me any pain,
you see that water rusted out my steel restraint,

So now I'm loose and running free.
Happy as a puppy dog could ever be.
i'm 4 years old and plenty to go.
