Reviews:
Willie Nelson has died time and time again — if you believe everything you read online. The country icon pokes fun at exactly this in a hilarious video for "Still Not Dead." The song, featured on his new God’s Problem Child album, out April 28, has Nelson singing of how he is certain he's still alive, despite what the internet is telling him. “Well I woke up still not dead again today,” Nelson sings on the song's opening verse, “The internet said I had passed away. But if I died, I wasn’t dead to stay.” Nelson awakes from a deep sleep on his tour bus in the "Still Not Dead" video. Donning his "Smoke weed everyday" Christmas sweater, a gift from Snoop Dogg, he goes about his normal day. As he pours himself some coffee, he surfs the web to find that he has been reported dead once again. Alongside his day-to-day activities, clips of Nelson in the studio recording the song, live in concert and on his tour bus are shown. During a recent interview in Nashville, Nelson poked fun at the constant death hoaxes. "A long time ago, whenever I had ‘On the Road Again,' when it had first come out, somebody came out with the joke, 'Well you know Willie was out singing on the road again and got hit by a truck,'" Nelson shares. "That was what, 30 years ago? So every now and then somebody comes up with another Willie’s dead story. I always loved them, 'cause everybody was so glad to see me." -Annie Reuter of "Taste of Country" April 27, 2017- Halfshell

Song Lyrics:
I woke up still not dead again today
The internet said I had passed away
If I died I wasn't dead to stay
And I woke up still not dead again today

Well, I woke up still not dead again today
The gardener did not find me that a way
You can't believe a word that people say
And I woke up still not dead again today

I run up and down the road making music as I go
They say my pace would kill a normal man
But I've never been accused of being normal anyway
And I woke up still not dead again today

I woke up still not dead again today
The news said I was gone to my dismay
Don't bury me, I've got a show to play
And I woke up still not dead again today

I run up and down the road making music as I go
They say my pace would kill a normal man
But I've never been accused of being normal anyway
And I woke up still not dead again today

Last night I had a dream that I died twice yesterday
But I woke up still not dead again today
