There are other solutions. Most you know of them already. They're a bit questionable, so we site admins won't advocate their use...officially.

The other is to excise individual tunes from shows using audio management software. Mine is crap, but some of you have better programs, I'm sure.

This site is a member of ASCAP, BMI & SESAC, so copyrights aren't the problem. Crediting the artists properly is. Some years ago, we changed the song pages to allow as much crediting as possible - to ward off the lawyers, if nothing else.

Also if you've heard previous shows we have more trouble playing mp3s at the station... Most recent examples being the Power Salad song, Kiki Willows which were played off my phone or recorded to cassette tape.

They Don't do it They Want To keep the Songs for themselves And not Let Any Djs play It other than his

I know it's time spent which could have been used for doing other things, but it's a courtesy to the other DJs who might want to play it. Spreading the dementia around is a good thing.
