Rick Cormier is a comedian/singer/musician/parody author who has been writing parodies and doing stand-up since 2005.

He began by joining an international group of parody authors at Amiright.com, writing parodies and entering the writing contests there to much acclaim, often competing with (and losing to) Spaff.com. After a little while, he began recording his parodies and performing them live at the backyard parties of friends.

His forte is vocal impersonation. He has covered and imitated singers and celebrities like Louis Armstrong, the Beatles, Tom Jones, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Cheech and Chong, Popeye, Neil Diamond, Rod Serling and Arnold Schwarzennegger!

He also has a cast of his own characters that he throws in every now and then.

Rick does stand-up comedy in Boston and, has appeared at clubs like the Comedy Connection, the Comedy Studio, the China Blossom and Giggles. He will be hosting comedy shows at the Kowloon in Saugus, MA in the fall of 2010.

He often opens or closes his sets with one or more of his parodies, by removing his lead vocal track and singing the part live, karaoke style.
