fiogf49gjkf0d Can anyone help me figure out how to make my next selection of a song when listening to a program. Here's my example...I want to hear Police Stopped my Car...and it is listed as a selection in a program. I have only been able to get to it by listening to the three songs prior to it.....help????

fiogf49gjkf0d Wow. That is amazing news Capt. Wayne! There are so many people looking for a specific song here and there that are listed that this should increase members three-fold.
I usually don't pay for a lot, but this is something I would have to seriously consider!

fiogf49gjkf0d I'll announce it here since it's appropriate and answers Cebusmom's blog post.
Surprise!
In 2010 you WILL be able to listen to any song on the site - at-will and on-demand!
A new 'subscription' level will be offered where subscribers will be able to play any song on the site and any time they want. They will be able to build lists of their favorites, and will be able to play those favorites in "jukebox" fashion.
I can't give this away as a freebie becasue I have to have an additional and totally different license with ASCAP and BMI, one that costs more up-front and charges me $ per-play. The $ amount of the subscription is still being worked out (working with the licensing agents) it might be $9.99 a month - or it might be $4.99 a month - which way it goes depends on the deal I can work out.
This will likely go live in late January or early February.

fiogf49gjkf0d For a 20 minute segment, it usually takes 3 to 5 minutes for it to buffer up on my computer, using Windows Media Player. The lighter shade on the play progress bar shows this buffering as the first song or so plays. When it disappears you can drag the play position button to any place and jump over some songs. If you are using our new widget player (the light blue thing on the page) the far right rectangle has a play progress button that can similairly be moved, again after buffering is complete. Someone else might be able to explain its play function better.

fiogf49gjkf0d For legal reasons, only shows & not individual songs are playable. This is explained in more detail on the Help page. www.themadmusicarchive.com/tmmahelp.aspx Thanks to the lawyers, if you want a certain song, you need to hear its whole segment. The thing to do would be to get Winamp if you don't have it already, get the segment and fish around with the slide bar until you find it. And then curse the lawyers a bit more. But be assured- the song is in there. You just need to look for it a bit. Naturally, we'd like to think you'd want to hear a whole show every now and again.
