Something totally different... They are links to the .m3u playlist file for the mp3 version of the text. They point to an eternal source, since I don't have a way to put them here and make a 'play now' type link used for other artist's submissions.

btw I still can't get my browser to follow your imbedded links in your limericks. Are they a link to the news article your limerick is based on or something totally different?
