The word related premises in this bit are now rather anachronistic. People no longer say 'apesh*t'. It's an 'old people's word' for lack of a better description (at least in the Northeast it is) and yes, your editor is guilty of using it from time to time. And when was the last time you saw hot cross buns being sold anywhere? Even the Klan is a bit of an old fashioned notion, having been lawyered out of large scale existence some years ago.
Although I'm sure Carlin never intended this short bit to be topical, the terminology used in it turned out to have a limited shelf life. (Stavro Arrgolus)
