Hmm, the album is full of covers. There's more than just Spike not credited. Compilations play fast & loose with the crediting. Either small outfits get away with it or large companies license the rights for a time & don't credit everyone involved. We license the rights to stream these songs ourselves & our data's far from complete.

I learned long ago that the info on compilations isn't to be trusted. Companies trying to make quick cash off of classics aren't interested in accuracy.

But we are. Pages are merged and Mel is credited in the facts section. This sort of thing is part of what all the extra places to add song info on the pages are for. And, as always, it helps ward off the copyright lawyers.

It's still the same Spike Jones song. Perhaps the label forgot to give credit to Spike.

    Merged.

I suppose it's pointless to tell whoever (like I don't know who - HA!) not to add crap from YouTube without looking for it here first & a bit of documentation. This is still supposed to be an archive of accurate info about this genre of comedy. If it's a different version, say so. But if it's not, it's going to get merged.

Mel collaborated with Spike Jones in this song which by the way is already on the site. Please research. www.madmusic.com/song_details.aspx?SongID=2685
