"Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport" climbed to # 3 on the Billboard "Hot 100" in July 1963-Believe it or not,it went to # 1 on the Adult Contemporary/Easy Listening survey-As far as I can tell,that's the only novelty record to ever achieve that unlikely distinction. (djscott)

"I'm A Woman" by The Jim Kweskin Jug Band,which featured lead vocals by Maria Muldaur,was written by Jerry Lieber & Mike Stoller-It was a minor hit for Peggy Lee in the early 60's-Maria had a top 20 hit with the same song in early 1975-As they say,what goes around comes around. (djscott)
