Show Facts:
This show is now finally complete. If you're wondering, I DID mention the passing of Annette Funicello in seg 5, but like so many things I say, it didn't come out quite right, so I had to cut it from the recording. Things edited into the recording never sound anything like the rest of the sequence and have to be taken out. This sort of thing goes on all the time. If some parts of a show seem sparse, that's probably the reason. (Stavro Arrgolus)
The opening segment is named after a FuMP album. The gag is that almost none of the new songs in the set are FuMP songs. (Stavro Arrgolus)
The title of Segment 5 is a line from Blazing Saddles. The segment begins with an anime theme song. The song does not appear in the archive. Update: It does now... (Stavro Arrgolus)
Segment 6 has an ever so slight progressive death theme going from songs about the recently dead to dead people making tracks to becoming dead to implied resurrecting of the dead through technology to finally just remembering what was. (Stavro Arrgolus)

I missed a request or rather, I played one and didn't credit it to David Tanny. He'll get another one in the segments I add to the hour to complete the full MMS.

Glad the show is ok. I was concerned the topic was too out there.

Of course the show's not over...

Segment 4: "Um, Drugs Are Bad...Mmmkay?" A segment that has a theme within a theme. A musical 'trip' goes from 'mellow' to 'terrifying' in a single segment. And YOU still have to work out if the songs are dementia or not.

5 segments done and 1 more to go. IMHO, Songs mostly not dementia but still interesting to hear them.

It's long past time I fixed this. It should be noted that I blew David Tanny's requests twice in this show, missing it entirely the first time and mixing his location up with Karl Brown's the second.

Neither of these mistakes were intentional and were likely due to a combination of time constraints and painkillers. You'd forget things, too. Especially if you haven't built up a tolerance to them the way I have. My back hurts a lot and one can be easily distracted...
