I just hate it when my predictions come true!

Not yet.

I didn't mean for this to turn into a deathwatch thing. It just surprises me that so many have gone so soon.

Sometimes it's worth keeping the old technology in good repair. My favourite midi program is made for DOS (and requires an MPU-401 card, which won't run properly on current machines), so I need to keep my 486 running just for that. Of course, the plus side is that I have an excuse to keep all those old DOS games installed.

We'll have to learn DOS again. . .damn. . .I haven't touched a DOS starting computer since, well, I know I wasn't out of Elementary yet. . .

Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping
for all our icons. . .

They all will fly like from their coffins---to heavens deep
Hope that they make it, because the line is getting steep
They're gonna fly like a spirit--oh yeah
Flying up to the heavens. . .

I know poor taste--but jees

Hummm.... 50 years old and two deaths this week. I'll be turning 50 at the end of this year. If you add my name to that list, I will never speak to you again!
