fiogf49gjkf0d Car alarms are useless. No one pays any attention to them anymore... haven't for years.
Back in 1993-94, I used to have a car alarm on my '93 Chrysler LeBaron. It went off so much that I just started to ignore it. It would time out after 2 minutes, and reset itself. One night, it went off in my driveway about 3:00 in the morning, and I just ignored it till it quit... the next morning, sure enough, someone had stolen my car!!! (true story)
I recovered the car, but lost about $500 worth of stuff out of it. (including the alarm system module!)
I have never had an alarm in any of my cars since.
